Fredric A Simon Ph.D is founder and president of Medical Information 
Detectives LLC. Medical Information Detectives was formed in 2006 to provide patients with information to make intelligent decisions about their healthcare. Dr. Simon obtained his Ph.D in Physiology and Pharmacology from Wayne State Medical School. This was followed by NIH postdoctoral fellowship in diabetes research. Dr. Simon has spent a majority of his career in medical device field developing diagnostic tests for cancer, infectious disease, auto immunity and endocrine function. He has published numerous articles on laboratory medicine. He also has experience in biopharmaceuticals from a clinical trial and regulatory perspective. This unique experience has prepared him to have a broad and detailed knowledge of medical disease conditions.
